Do we even need a pay audit?+
If your company has employees in comparable roles, it is worth taking a look in any case. The EU Pay Transparency Directive brings reporting obligations and strengthens your employees’ rights. An audit shows you early where you stand: before courts, applicants or the works council ask.
When does pay transparency become relevant for our company?+
Practically now. Rights to information already apply today, and since June 2026 German courts have aligned their interpretation of existing law with the EU directive. Reporting obligations follow, staggered by company size, first for the 2027 reporting year. The quick check above gives you an overview.
How does a pay audit with AIHRCON work?+
In three steps: You export your pay data from your payroll or HR system, we provide a template. Our audit forms comparator groups based on the criteria of the EU directive, calculates adjusted and unadjusted pay differences and checks every gap for justifiability. You receive an audit-ready report with an executive summary and prioritized recommendations.
How quickly do we receive our report?+
After we receive your complete data export, typically within 48 hours, including an executive summary with a traffic-light rating.
What data does AIHRCON need?+
A simple export is enough: Excel or CSV from your payroll or HR system. You receive a field list and a template in advance. Personal identifiers can be reduced to a minimum, pseudonymized data is sufficient.
How safe is our pay data?+
Isolated processing in the EU, encrypted (TLS 1.3, AES-256), with a data processing agreement and a deletion policy. Your data trains no AI models. You get the full technical and organizational measures before you place an order.
Does AIHRCON replace legal advice?+
No. We deliver the data-based analysis and documentation, not legal advice. For the legal assessment you work with your law firm or legal department. Our report is the solid basis for it.
What sets AIHRCON apart from classic software or a consulting project?+
Software is self-service: you buy a tool, configure and operate it yourself. Consulting projects deliver a one-off result after weeks, at five-figure cost. AIHRCON combines both: you provide data, we deliver an audit-ready result, typically in 48 hours, put into context by a team from HR, compliance and AI.
How is the works council involved?+
For analyses based on employee data, the works council has co-determination rights. Our methodology is disclosed and prepared for the works council, so you can inform early and transparently. Those who analyze proactively lead this conversation from a position of strength.
How transparent is the methodology?+
Fully traceable. Comparator groups are formed based on the four criteria of the EU directive (skills, effort, responsibility, working conditions), and every assessment is documented. No black box: every number in the report can be traced back to its basis.
Which HR systems does AIHRCON work with?+
Practically all of them. We need no system access and no interface, an export as Excel or CSV is enough, for example from DATEV, Personio or SAP.
How much internal effort is required from our company?+
Typically one to two hours for the data export based on our template. We take care of the rest: no IT project, no rollout effort, just a small amount of training to meet the obligations under the EU AI Act.
